You don't have to go through it alone

I am here to walk along side you

Taking the first step can be the start of something better

About Kelly

I have spent many years working in the NHS within mental health and wellbeing together within the  private sector supporting many people from all walks of life with diverse backgrounds and who have experienced traumatic life challenging events which include suicidal ideation, abuse and sexual trauma, depression, anxiety and stress, relationship issues, neurodiversity and diagnosed and undiagnosed conditions such as ADHD.

I am experienced in many areas and passionate about working with people providing them the support they feel they need and for you to be in control of the process and your journey.

As a parent myself, I understand that parenting can bring both joy and challenges, particularly within a society where expectations can sometimes feel overwhelming. Every child and family is different, and neurodiversity can bring its own strengths, challenges and ways of experiencing the world. I offer a supportive, non-judgemental space for parents and young people to explore emotional wellbeing, including difficulties with self-harm, thoughts of suicide, anxiety, low mood and feeling overwhelmed. I can also support parents in understanding and responding to these challenges, helping you and your child feel heard, supported and less alone. My aim is to work alongside you and your family to build understanding, develop coping strategies and support wellbeing.

A little bit about my experience

Before becoming a counsellor, I worked across a range of professional settings, including the NHS and in roles supporting people through challenging and sometimes complex situations.

Working with people from different backgrounds and circumstances has given me a broad understanding of the pressures and experiences that can affect our everyday and our wellbeing. These experiences continue to inform the way I work with clients today.

They have also strengthened my belief that everyone has their own story, and that being genuinely heard and understood can make a significant difference.

I bring this experience into my counselling practice, alongside my professional training, creating a space where you can feel listened to, respected and valued.

My approach

I don't believe you need to have everything figured out before coming to counselling. Sometimes you may know exactly what you want to work on; at other times, you may simply know that something doesn't feel right.

Together, we can explore what is happening for you, make sense of your experiences and consider what you might need to move forward.

My aim is to provide a safe and confidential space where you can be yourself, without judgement, and work at your pace that feels right for you.

You don't need to have a specific diagnosis or know exactly what's wrong to come to counselling.

Sometimes we know we want something to change, but we don't always know where to start.

Change begins the moment you decide you deserve better
